Lotus tower

 OffiOfficially inaugurated on 16/09/2019 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, it was officially opened  350 m high tower, hence the name "Lotus Tower" because it is shaped like a lotus bud.The tower is being designed by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.  The tower was originally planned to be built in Peliyagoda, but was later relocated to its present location by the government. The tower will be the tallest structure in South Asia. 19 th tallest tower in the world.

The tower will be built on D. R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10, facing the Beira Lake. The main sources of income for the Colombo Lotus Tower are the tourism industry and the leasing of transmission antennas. The tower is expected to operate as a radio and television transmission antenna and will be able to accommodate up to 50 television services and 20 telecommunications service providers.
